Alligator (fern) in the sewers...
The intrepid fern is making a comeback after our snowy winter. I'm hoping it gets huge by the end of summer, climbs out of the grate, and balances the biennium campus budget.

Hollyhocks in bloom
Summer is here! The flora right now is incredible--wild sweet peas, blackberry brambles, poppies, and hollyhocks are some of the fabulous plants all abloom. Campus has been abandoned by the students, leaving the faculty and staff in a state of relaxed focus. Everyone is acting like they just finished a yoga class: refreshed and renewed with a minimum of urgency. All in all, a good time to stroll about on work-related errands.
